Pelos is a children's picture book that I'm co-creating with Sheila Villalobos. This book is an act of love to our younger selves. Both Sheila and I were bullied for having hair on our bodies as children making us feel insecure, ugly, and ashamed. Through our book, we want to remind all children that body hair is completely normal and healthy while starting positive conversations about body neutrality and acceptance.
